This is a bit grizzly, but noteworthy:
My wife pointed out something that I wanted to share: having now gotten word that "remains from all seven astronauts" have been found suggests strongly that the crew capsule part of the shuttle has been located. There's no other way that an odd body part here and there could have been otherwise positively identified by today.

Excellent thought. If that is true, I wonder if it came from that capsule that was thought to have gone into the lake on the TX/LA border?

Except that the initial reports of finding a hand and an arm yesterday morning in San Augustine, TX -- as well as later CBS reports of four confirmed findings of body parts in East Texas -- seem to have been confirmed. Doesn't sound as if they were all in one place.

The remains have NOT been identified. They are simply stating that they have remains from all seven. There have been reports of body parts in various locations. I doubt there was a single complete set of remains in any one place. Identification is yet to be made, and then of course, there will be all kinds of testing done. The families have a while to wait. I pray for them.
