When the camera showed Daschle's face, I told my wife, "look at the evil inside that man. He can't hide his hate and contempt."

Don't take anything for granted.
I spoke to a friend this afternoon. She went on a rant about her 401K and how it was Bush's war talk that was causing her stock to drop. It's also his fault that gasoline is so expensive now. Etc., etc.
Talking to her does no good. She llives in an alternative unoverse. She is not alone.

Barring some unforeseen catostrophe for the Repubs, in 2004, the Dems are headed for about 40% of the vote. It will take them 15-20 years to recover. The catastrophe will be a bio-attack.

he isn't that bad...he just wants to wait till the missles are flying over the white house and then he'll tell bush to get off his lazy butt and fry those guys..{of course all the democrats will be in the bunkers that won't get touched|} And if one does land, the Dems will be blaming him for not getting 100% of all inbound threats.

"The base of the Democratic party is in profound disagreement with the rest of the country on this issue. And I guess for Tom not to recognize that would be political suicide." Therein, I think, lies the underlying dynamic that misinforms the Dems. Daschle is not being a leader of his party and explaining to them the need for action in Iraq. Instead, he follows the polls.

on January 26, Daschle was asked eight questions about Iraq. Three times he stated that the "burden of proof" is on the Bush administration. Daschle is a traitor to the United States of America. ....and that is not hyperbole.

Probably, by Monday, when all the DemocRATS awake from their weekend slumber, Bush will be accused of underfunding the NASA program, what with all the tax cuts et. al. resulting in the Saturday disaster. AP, I believe it is, already has out such a story. To paraphrase: "The Bush administration ignored the warnings of a NASA engineer about safety issues due to under-funding, tracing all the way back to 1992."
No mention was made of who was President during the eight years starting 1992...

Da assle is a pud and has never had any credibility....He looked rather small at the state of the union address by the President, eh?

"The base of the Democratic party is in profound disagreement with the rest of the country on this issue." The base of the Democrat Party is made up of over-indulged children that live only for their own safety and pleasure.

. . .does this Marxist Demrat even come close to representing his Constituency? No!

I am glad Evan Bayh is not running for Pres. He is the one Dem that worries me.

"...how sinister he appeared."Believe me, you weren't the only one who noticed. It really stood out.

The 7-11 Slurpee Man

The eyes in your graphic are so like how I viewed this man that night. It was the body language with the head down and those eyes looking outward in an EVIL GLARE. It was truly an evil looking vision...one I have never seen before and one I will never forget. Thank God for President Bush.
To: RasterMaster
Small, brooding, dark and evil looking.
To: Pokey78
Daschle is more or less admitting to selling out national security to further his own political ambitions. If he believes, as he has stated, that Iraq possess WMD and is a threat to the USA but also believes that international support is critical then he ought to stand behind the President and help garner that international support.
His own words damn him. I had some sympathy for him when he complained about being called a traitor. I don't anymore, he is a traitor.
