Why do any of you take it down?
Mine has been flying since 1991. The only time it comes down, is to replace it with a new one, of which its about time (last one up since March of 2001).

truly good answer on this end.
guess i should buy another one.
the current one is a veteran of several DC FReeps,
most notably at the USSC in 2000, and is showing its scars ...

Our flag is up everyday also. Has been for several years. I am planning to lower it to half staff today in memory of our shuttle crew.
