I have a Shuttle Operators Manual that did not get any bids a while back. I could probably put it up today and get a healthy number of bids. But I won't. I certainly won't put up any Space Shuttle items until after one year has passed.
Actually, if you have memorabilia to sell, you really shouldn't necessarily wait any longer than a few days after the memorials. It will be fresh in people's minds then and some of them will be looking for memorabilia of the tragedy. So, allowing others to buy your memorabilia items is not necessarily some kind of profiteering. It's a sharing of memories that mean a lot to many of us.
You should at least consider it.

I'd never feel right about it.
