About 10 minutes later, a large number of sirens (firetrucks, etc.) headed south...

Not good.

Normally we hear the booms here as it passes over. I didn't hear it this time but all my birds flipped out at the same time and started flying around the house- even the one with clipped wings. Not sure if they heard something.

We live north of Carrollton, TX and the boom was so loud my spouse was sure a vehicle hit the house. My mom who lives near by ran outside because she though something fell on her house. No debris in our area. But the boom was not just sound but also a physical feeling.
