I was up and making breakfast around 8:00 CST about 30 miles northwest of Dallas and didn't hear a thing - for which I'm glad. And unlike others' pets, my dog didn't notice anything. How very very sad, such fine and brave people. We're left with only the hope that they died very quickly.

I've been reading, reading, reading, refreshing, reading, watching FOX, reading... for hours here on FR. Thank you ALL for the informative updates, personal input, and continued comments. My heart is breaking.

I was telling Ming about this disaster this morning. I printed off the picture of the 7 and showed it to her and her son. I told them that I felt sure that they probably died immediately in the explosion and wouldn't have suffered. I feel that's true, and sure hope so...
