Kudos to one courageous writer and to those courageous enough to buy Jeff's book. May they go forth and multiply.(^;

Thanks for the BUMP my friend. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Very interesting, and yet extremely perilous times. Liberty has always been perilous, requiring the continual faith, vigilance and active involvement of those who value it.
To: lavaroise
Very interesting forum, and something we all should be aware of, consider in light of today's events and be vigilant against.
My series touches on this ... resulting in an economic alliance to begin with between China and Russia during the first half of the great WW III struggle wherein China and her allies, combined with the Islamic nations, wage unrestricted warfare against the United States specifically and the west in general.
Russia attempts to sit it out, deriving huge economic benefit from playing both sides off until later, there occurs a "Barbarosa II", but this time coming from the east. That event (hopefully ithout revealing too much) takes place in the current volume I am working on, Volume III, High Tide.

Thanks for those kind words ... and having read some of your on posts here on FR, I know that the first part about not writing more than three paragraphs and not keeping people's interest decidedly does not apply to you.
As to the goal you touched on in the last statement ...
reading for pleasure and for political awareness (if the two can coexist).
The entire premise and reasoning behind the series is the postion and belief that they most certainly can coexist ... indeed that they must.
To: Joe Brower
Absolutely! Amen to that pic! I love it.
It captures in a very quick view, what the entire foundation of our nation is, and exactly what I am trying to write about in the Dragon's Fury Series.
... how in even the most horrific circumstances, the things depicted in that picture can percervier through adversity, overcome tyranny and restore and maintain liberty.
To: Jeff Head
A BTT. Sadly, I do not anticipate a similarly sanguine review from The Nation, The Guardian, or The Daily Worker. But a writer's gotta know his market, and I'm thinking Shotgun News is just about right...
To: joanie-f
Thanks joanie. Slow, steady and committed progress towards a goal is indeed always better. Sort of reminds me of one of the lines from one of my cowboy poetry versus ...
Just like the cowboys who make a flash,
but they don't stand much of a run. They always bust in with a sweep and a dash,
when most of the work's all done.
So, win or lose ... success by the world's standards or no ... I intend to keep plodding on and put out all five volumes. One never knows the power of just one heart that is touched and looks at things differently as a result of the message. The messages in this series, in addition to hopefully being an exciting and thought provoking techno-thriller war story regarding current events, are morally directed at just that sort of thing.
Know you and yours are in our prayers here in Idaho. We hope you are recovering nicely and that the Grace of Him who is mighty to save shines on you all ... indeed, that it continues to shine on this great Republic.

Thank you both so much! I hope it helps set the stage for a successful introduction of Volume III.

... and another BUMP back.

I think that the UNamerican tagline could make a terrific bumper sticker, with the UN in baby blue.

Thank you so much for those kind words. I hope, of course, that they do multiply.
We are entering into very perilous circumstances (in truth we have been in them for years) and I pray that God's Spirit rests on our leaders and influences and directs them through the mine field ... and that we will strive to live worthy of that same spirit so we can, in turn, insure that we have leaders who are open to such influence.
To: Billthedrill
Well, you are probably right about those other particular publications ... but I hope to one day have other reviews that spread the good word amongst a broader and broader market.
I think the content has that reach and possibility if the word can get out ... I am, sadly, lacking in advertising funds and must pretty much depend on word of mouth for the time being. But that is fine ... if it can't spread that way now, it is unlikely to spread too far the other way later either.
To: Travis McGee
You are absolutely right ... an ingenius idea. I'll work something up and email it to you.
To: Travis McGee
BTW ... you are closing in on 7500 hits in the first three weeks on
EFOD.
... outstanding!

Based on your comments and discussions on the N. Korea thread, I thought you might be interested in this review and the progress I am making on a volume of books that goes into detail on just those issues.

As a matter of fact, I have been told that on occassion ... but, my Dad taught me that words were easy, its actions and the heart that count.
I would gladly give up all of the words that I could possibly utter to insure that, in the end, those latter qualities were vouchsafed and sure ... hopefully then, whatever words flow, come out of that. That's my hope anyway.
