So are you saying he took the umbrella bottoms to use as anchors as opposed to anchors or concrete from his work?

Did he carry her out in these umbrella's at all or is this a different theory?

One theory i have as far as the umbrellas are concerned, is that he might have killed her during the night of 23rd. In the early morning hours under the cover of darkness he disposed of her body in water using the umbrella bases as weights/ anchors. He drives back home and then realises that the umbrellas without the bases might look suspicious. So just before he goes on his "fishing" trip he takes the umbrellas to the warehouse to hide them. I think that he was making REPLACEMENT anchors for the umbrellas. He had used the originals to dispose of the body.
