I'm afraid my first post wasn't very clear. I was saying that it is possible the administration leaked it, because of the reason you suggest; but, if we are getting ready to go to war with Iraq, why would we want Hussein to know that we know who his operatives are and what they are doing?

If it's a deliberate leak, it was done by the administration for some unknown psych-op reason. If it's loose-lipped media, Saddam now thinks his spies have been compromised.
