Actually, in Denmark the term "liberal" means "anti-socialist" in the sense of the economic ideas of Hayek and Mises.

But only Rasmussen, Aznar and Berlusconi are conservatives in any American sense of the word. The rest are all liberals in American terms.

DU is really mad about this. HOW DARE any European nations defy the might and power of France and Germany. They actually say this is destroying European unity, WHICH MUST BE PRESERVED AT ALL COST.
