Good morning Taxman. So nice to meet you. Thanks for all your efforts in trying to help us keep our hard earned money. I have relatives in Poland and had the opportunity to visit about 5 years ago. This really opened my eyes as to how a government "controls" our lives through taxation and spending. My grandparents (who all immigrated here) would tell tales of the big bad communists who confiscated the land after the landowner died and it couldn't be passed down to the next generation. I always took this literally, ie they were there with gun in hand. Little did I realize that they did this through the "death tax". It's frightening to think we're heading in that direction.

Our Rotary Club is hosting 13 Russians with agricultural background for the next three weeks through some national cultural exchange. They have a very intense three week schedule and I'm out the door to transport them to a large hog farm. (the things we do in the spirit of volunteerism!!!!). Anyway, they are just recovering from the devastating effects of communism also and are watching what's going on here with keen interest. BTW, they think we have a WONDERFUL president!
