I'm half scared to click on an external link here at FR, now. But will check it out.

I wish I could find the post. I know the person posting it did it intentionaly, that's what really ticks me off.

If you're running Windows, you should be scared to click on a link anywhere. It is possible to destroy the operating system just by clicking on a malicious link.

You should always be half-scared to click on ANY link. That's just common sense.
You might want to consider another browser, like Mozilla.
It can be configured to block pop-ups, doesn't have the scripting security issues IE does and it's FREE.
Unfortunately, it is a BIG download, so if you're on dialup, you might be out of luck. Even Phoenix, the smaller iteration is 6 megs.
Always check your status bar and verify where you're going next. Good luck. Oh, and Ad-Aware rocks.
