This isreally interesting. I, as a boy, was always interested in dome houses and the like, and it is really interesting the interior strength of such structures. So this site really is interesting. Maybe some home school parents might want to expose their children to this site.

Many of the links have erroneous "%20" characters. The links work fine once you remove that.

To access the models you will have to visit the parent web site
HERE and then go visit the specific link that you are intersted in. You will need to be able to read PDF formats. These are OUTSTANDING! designs. Really, a must see.

Yea, you are right. To do this you look at the address that the 404 link too you to. Then highlight the %20 and delete it. then hit the link. The links then work fine.

I built a dome -- the very shallow angles at the joints make them the weakest part. Geodesy is fun and should be taught as part of geometry.

"(My wife did the homemade volcano experiment a few weeks ago which was a runaway smash hit 8-)"Oh, that's a good one! I just love doing all these things with our kids....and seeing their faces when we pull off another experiment.
I'd be missing so much if we weren't homeschooling. I'm very thankful for it.
