Kristol and Hume were wonderful on Fox. I thought Card was a waste of time. Snow was doing his job putting Card on the spot and all Card did was spout platitudes and talking points. Sometimes he didn't address the question at all -- very embarrassing.
Mara and Juan (Fox) kept shifting ground when Hume showed them how wrong they were. It was as if they said, "You're right, but it doesn't matter."

Roni, I think I remember Tony being for returning Elian to his father, but don't quote me. I have just had it with him on a lot of major issues lately. He has been allowing RATS to come on his show and lie with no challenge. When he interviews Republicans, he hits them with tough questions and calls them on their answers. Fair and balanced is treating both sides equally. Tony Snow can kiss my butt until he treats everybody the same.
ck, take your meds! LOL! But don't worry, we are all getting a little weird while we wait for this war to begin. You are just as nuts as the rest of us!

Sam's answer should have been, "It's the rattlesnake you don't see that bites you!"

' Andy Card is my least favorite administration official when it comes to the Sunday shows. He is, at best, adequate"
I agree. I cringe when I see him on the Sunday shows-there's something smarmy and disingenuous about the guy. He's a terrible representative for the WH and he never makes the case. He smiles too much, like a used car salesman.I just don't trust him.

I don't think it is a matter of making the case or people seeing the case. It's the same old thing, anything a Republican administration does is bad bad bad.

No flame but I get so tired of hearing everyone dump on Powell as if he is some wildcard in this administration. The man is doing his job. He says what he is told to say. He does what he is told to do. He is a team player. Playing his role.

Pat Sajak will take Rita Cosby's place...Does this mean Vanna will turn his que-cards for him?
To: Wait4Truth
I actually heard Tony Snow snickering and saying he tried to get the NY Times to write about the RATS ad during the presidential campaign. He seemed so proud of himself that he had tried to get the ball rolling against the President. Nothing subliminal about Tony's leanings!

I agree 100%. Powell don't get to be (and stay) a general under Geo. H. W. Bush by being out of control. He is indeed a team player.
My point is that the focus in tightening; the time is running out. The 'diplomatic' angle and role is over.

typo: Powell didn't get to be a general...
