Twelve of us patriots countered about the same number of cowardly terrorist supporters (un-American marxists) across the street. We got all the honks and waves, they got all the hoots and one finger salutes.

Regulars present tonight:

A new couple, Jeff and Sarah, joined us tonight. Said they'd seen us there before and decided to start joining us.

Also, just as we were leaving a man stopped by and told us he'd heard about the protests on the Bill Manders Show and dropped by to counter the Peaceniks. Unfortunately, they'd already clocked out by the time he arrived. He said he'd stop by next week and blast them with some Ted Nugent stuff. Said his son is in the service and is in Germany. Will probably be called to the middle-east conflict eventually.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening. Was overcast and in the 50's and just right for FReeping.

We missed those of our regulars who couldn't be there tonight and hope to see you all next week.

What a way to spend a Friday night huh ? Thanks for the uplifting news / post / thread.

I could see myself planning a future vacation around a good old fashion freep somewhere in America- LOL In other words the freep would be the vacation !

I wanted to attend the Rally in DC so bad... (layed off work, things were a little too tight to travel, to say the least)

Great job again, Fresnoans! I think there's something always symbolic about your weekly Freep Fotos - your faces are always brightly lit, yet around you is a sea of darkness.

Obviously there's some kind of a Black Hole on the other side of the street sucking in everything that's good - Light, Truth, Freedom, Common Sense, Intelligence. But like a beacon in the dark you steadfastly preserve all those fine qualities over on your side of the street.

Last night was a great night!! Some new people joined us and it is always fun to meet these new people and hear their reason for coming out on a Friday night.
Sarah said she would be with us every Friday as long as we are there and her husband Jeff will join us when he is able. He is a VietNam Veteran; she served in the Army after the VietNam war. Both are delightful people.
