Here's my letter to the editor:

Dear Mr. Morford:

Your op-ed piece is probably one of the funniest I've seen in a while. Who needs to parody leftists when one can cut and paste?

I'm not sure you've ever thought about the other side of the abortion coin. Sometimes religious people DO try and curb activities that they see as 'sinful', such as unmarried sex or homosexuals, that don't really hurt anyone else. But with abortion, someone else IS hurt, actually killed. That someone might be just a fetus that's nothing more than a glob of gloop, but that fetus can someday grow up to be a a yoga teacher and fiction writer and an outstanding parallel parker and fervent wine devotee and former smoker and former LA rock-god wannabe and careful insinuator and occasional unfair mudslinger.... you get the point.

The fetus will never be able to do these things if he (or she) isn't given the choice.
