I guess they really mean it.
I think CNN was duped by old pal Ritter into thinking he would level with them, give them a scoop, the real deal on what happened. Brown was oh so sweet about nailing Ritter, the old "this hurts me more than you" gambit. Brown did real damage to what's left of Ritter's reputation, but just imagine how differently Brown would have handled the same interview if it had been a republican activist.
Within four weeks, REAL weapons inspectors will go into Iraq, namely the 82nd Airborne. They WILL find all the weapons of mass destruction and will kill those who are hiding and protecting them. It would be poetic justice to drag Scott Ritter, and all his apologists in the US Congress, to Iraq to stick their noses into the first barrel of nasty chemicals that the 82nd Airborne find.
They should be forced to take a big whiff, and then say to the waiting TV cameras how wrong they were. Would be a fine moment on the media.
