This all started the first time I found the mussels at the restaurant. I ate 40. My kids thought it was hilarious, and started egging me on the next time we went to 'break the record'.

The next trip, they got their wish. I ate 63.

Then, we went to the same restaurant with some family members. We were talking about my record, and my cousins dared me to try to break it. They even threw in $15 to cover my wife & my meals. This time around, I ate 75.

Now, I am going to shoot for 100. There is no guarantee I can do it, nor is there a guarantee that that is ALL I will eat. 100 is my goal.

Some folks have pledged to donate a certain amount per mussel, up to 100, which is fantastic. Others are just pledging. Whatever the amount, it will reach my ultimate objective of raising money for FR.
