Just as background: the Democrats of Broward County are mostly either retired Jewish ex-New Yorkers, or black. (I'm familiar with the area since my (retired, Jewish Democrat NY'er) mother-inlaw lives around there).

The struggle between the two sides is going to get uglier. The retired-Democrats are NOT going to like their taxes being raised for "social services" for the welfare-class. Who knows, perhaps some of them will see the light and turn Republican
