Pretty much. It's freezing here. And that's quite a statement coming from someone who likes spending her free time in a freezing ice rink!! LOL. I guess the global warming terrorists were wrong!

Tonight it is expected we will get down to 10-15 degrees, which is extreme for this part of South Carolina.
After those years in Fairbanks, and several feet of snow on the ground all winter, though, I can handle it..:)))
The last two winters in base housing, we lived across the street from the elementary school, and children trekked to it across the playground behind me, creating elaborate paths through the packed snow that was easily six feet deep all over.
Seemed kinda 'normal' at the time, as did the -40 and -50 temperatures..:))
Psychologically, I was at the level where I thought 'everything would be okay' if the temperture rose to ZERO - and meant it.
Even a Florida girl does adapt.
