If you thought that was funny, on the Oprah show Tuesday they showed excerpts from the mess last night. They showed part of a rodeo parade with horses and a covered wagon with a Confederate flag without identifying it as a parade and it looks like our favorite mode of transportation is horses and covered wagons!

They did a lot of interviews in a black beauty shop. Talk about racists! I think they were the "Steal Magnolias."

Yes...we're getting snow...but worst...I'm watching John Kerry TRASHING GWB Will tell you a little secret Louie and sistahs...I'm a soap opera junkie. A two hour fix most nights (All my Kids" and One life to Live" Yes...I tape them too and Mr. D. knows all the characters because he wants to "share".. I do also Listen to Rush during the commercials.... Now you know all about me!!!!

And....if you don't believe my soap opera history I DARE YOU TO GIVE ME A TRIVIA QUESTION!!!!!

He is just trying to get his second wind for when I return. I am a Republican, an elephant, you know, and I never forget. These are all being stored up just waiting for a response. He will feel the heat of the arrival.

Skinny may be TheThinMan, but he is still a great target.

When I was at the doctor's office the other day, Skinny was sitting over on the other side. Now, I am not nosey, mind you, but I did overhear part of the conversation. It went a bit like this....

TheThinMan's wife started noticing how forgetful he was becoming. Being the concerned wife, she convinced him to see a doctor. Skinny was a little worried when the doctor came in. Sensing his patient's nervousness, the first thing the doctor did was to ask what was troubling him. "Well," Skinny answered. "I seem to be getting forgetful. I'm never sure I can remember where I put the car, or whether I answered a letter, or where I'm going, or what it is I'm going to do once I get there, if I get there. So, I really need your help. What can I do?" The doctor thought for a moment, then answered in his kindest tone, "Pay me in advance."

By the way, Skinny, I have missed our empassioned exchanges. I look forward to them soon again. Stay well.

I'm going to watch PBS (rarely) now and will probably really get mad!

You don't know how maddening it is when you live in a town of 8000 and it's continuously being dragged throught the mud by the national media.

Yeah, PBS is just this side of 'pinko' but have to admit....they do have some great programs. The one last night with Itzhak Perlman was excellent!

Just read your news about Eric's possible deployment soon, and he will be - you and your family will be in our hearts and our prayers for God to watch over him, along with all the men and women over there, wherever over there may be.
