Toothbrush tops invention survey

Jan. 21 Whats more important, your toothbrush or your computer? The answer seems obvious, but what if the question becomes: Which could you not live without? A survey released Tuesday found that the lowly toothbrush beat out computers, cars, cell phones and microwaves as the must-have tool.

Was curious as to what Freepers think are inventions that we can't live without.
As to the "Toothbrush"...it must have been invented by someone in North Carolina. Otherwise, it would be called a "Teethbrush". :)

Water based paint. Highly underrated invention. I HATE paint thinner. If I have to use an oil based product I just throw away the brush.
