[history]
IT looks like Jackson Browne is trying to rewrite history.
The rocker has demanded that TBS Superstation delete a scene from the next re-broadcast of "American Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story," which shows Kennedy rescuing a battered and bruised Daryl Hannah from an abusive Browne.

Rosie, you're alright,
You wear my ring.
When you hold me tight,
Baby, that's my thing.
When you turn out the light,
I got to hand it to me.
Looks like it's you and again tonite,
Rosie.....

JFK JR. probably had his flaws (poor judgement while flying being one of them) but that doesn't negate the weight of the accumulated evidence that he was at heart a pretty decent guy. There have been people on FR who knew him who confirm that.

You're right, I've heard he was a decent guy, despite his family history.
He should have beaten the crap out of Jackson, though. It couldn't have been too difficult.

Who the hell is Jackson Browne? 1970's-1980's singer/songwriter. Hung out with Linda Rondstat, the Eagles, Bonnie Raitt, et al.
Oh, and peacenik extrordinaire.

JFK Jr. secured a permanent position on my sh!t-list when he invited Larry Flynt as his guest to the 1999 White House Correspondents Dinner.
This was the same Flynt, if you remember, who once published nude photos of Jacqueline Onassis in Hustler magazine.
Classy guy, that JFK Jr.
/sarcasm off/

Rock "star." 70s/80s. A left-wing wimp-bastard. An anti. And those are his "good points" we are told.

That was pretty scummy, but he was desperate to try to save his floundering magazine.
Even his death couldn't save that silly rag.

Well known for his song: Black Brown Eyed Girl.

Surely you remember this:
Doctor, my eyes
Tell me what you see
I hear their cries
Just say if it's too late for me
Doctor, my eyes
Cannot see the sky
Is this the prize for having learned how not to cry
Maybe he foresaw what he planned for Daryl's eyes.

I always thought he seemed like a great guy. He certainly could have been a LOT worse given his family.

Mermaid abuse should not be tolerated and should be well reported.
