Now I KNOW the Clintons were involved.

Now that we know an actual underage girl was not involved, what could be the reason for keeping this case secret (if that would be a good enough reason in the first place)?

It appears Ritter is guilty of trying to "Have it your way" at a Burger King to boot!

Well, my theory (and feel free to shoot it down, many have already done so) is that certain people found Ritter useful as an anti-Bush spokesperson. Note how when he talks he calls the people in the administration "Bush" and "Cheney."

My theory is that said people found out about his predilection and forced him to become a public spokesperson for Saddam and against the USA. Open knowledge about his arrest would have ended his usefulness (as I hope this article now causes) and so said people quashed the arrest record and report.

I am thinking the Clintons werre involved. They would wield more influence in ALbany County (and more fear) than Iraqi agents, although Saddam may have agents there as well.

Ya know, Shermy, that if a real life 16-year-old girl was involved and not a cop in an internet sting, it makes the reduction of charges to a low-level misdemeanor--with a sealed record to boot AND with no jail time, no fine, no probation, no NOTHING--even more baffling, especially since the ADA didn't tell the DA about the charges until HE found out from a reporter. What would've made the ADA risk her job of 15 years to cover for Scott Ritter?

If I recall, Bill and Roger Clinton used to enjoy booze and cocaine parties with 14 year-old girls back in the Arkansas days. Maybe one or both of the Clintons have "partied" with Ritter.
