Venezuala is in America's direct sphere of influence even in oldschool isolationist foreign policy. Alaska could repace Saudi oil but we ain't gonna be able to produce everything domestically.

I am not an isolationist, I am an non-interventionist. Unless the borders and "property" of America is threatened I don't care. Venezuala's oil does not become our property until we buy it at market value.

Gee whiz! Do you have to invade Venezuela too in addition to Korea and Iraq, oops let's not forget that budding nuclear power, Brazil. How do intend to pay for all this? Let me guess: the taxpayers!
