For those that are interested there is a website regarding Kristen Smart disappearance and Paul Flores which I found when searching to see if possibly Scott Peterson had signed Kristin Smarts guest book (which I did not find). The website is:

Susan happens to be the mother of Paul Flores.

Also there is one of the pictures of Laci and Scott Peterson on this website that has a statement that reads that Scott had nothing to do with Kristin Smarts disappearance. I don't know how they know that.

Thanks for the ping. Interesting website. It seems that guy could be sued for libel. There is a lot of hearsay, gossip type stuff there. Not that I don't believe it, it just makes me wonder how far people are allowed to go these days. He could be sued for slander or harassment.

I think you're on to something. Afterall, her step dad asked Scott if he was seeing another woman BEFORE the police told Laci's family that he was. Makes me think Laci must have said something to her mom.

I can't either. If that bastard killed her in their house, I hope they get the goods on him to proove it.

Sounds like they're keeping lots of stuff to themselves. I sure wish they'd make more info public. Are they searching anywhere besides bodies of water? The bag of cement found on the property is suspicious and naturally, one would assume he'd use it to weight the body down in water.

Thank you, interesting site. Now that Fox is reporting that Police are saying they have no link to Scott, the heat is off him. Of course, I suppose it is always possible they could find something later, and for now they want the press off that case while they investigate, but he very likely had nothing to do with it.

Could I impose and ask a newbie question? Now that I've registered, when I post, the thread goes back to the first post, am I missing something as to marking the location, or is this normal? I do see where I can go to "My posts" and also see the replies, I'm just trying to learn how to follow threads...I had my system down when I wasn't registered, now it's a little confusing to find where I left off the next day.

Hi Rusty, the LE may be playing the Kristin Smart/Scott Peterson thing down due to them not wanting any of the info public, but then had no alternative once the National Enquirer got involved.

When I want to go back to where I left off, I go to my comments and search for my last post on the thread that I am looking for.

CO, while I was still trying to search for ANY official article that actually connected Scott to questioning of a missing ASU women I ran across this old Peterson thread on 1/18/03. This may be where you got the idea of Scott being involved with an ASU person and it appears that I and a couple of others are the ones who started the idea of that possibility. I see that you were not on this thread, so I think the idea spread and became rumor. The calling in of students was in the Cal Poly case as seen in the lower article I have included.

Here is what I posted at #160 and look at #72 and #113. They were just speculations that maybe there had been a murder at ASU and that is why Scott left so early.

On another thread was an article posted where Scotts father said he gave Scott a car for a hole in one and that Scott had also gone to Arizona State, but came home suddenly and they never did know why.

Maybe the police should start investigating any murders, disapearences in Arizona while he was there.

"Scott Peterson's name has not been directly related as a witness or a student who gave any positive response," meaning he did not return a letter sent to hundreds of students, asking them for information, Bolts said.

"Bolts said Peterson did not show up on a list of people at whom investigators wanted to take a closer look.

to have attended Arizona State University and played on the school's golf team as a walk-on.

It never happened, according to school officials.

"We've researched all the media guides, all the record books, everything, and we can't find
his name anywhere," said Doug Tammaro, ASU's associate sports information director.
"As far as we know, and we're pretty sure, Scott Peterson never played golf for ASU."

The confusion could stem from the fact that Peterson did, apparently, play high school golf
with ASU alum Phil Mickelson when the two attended University High in the San Diego area.

Mickelson, though, has said he doesn't remember Peterson being on the team.

Thanks for the article. I had run across one the other day that said there was no evidence he had ever received a GOLF SCHOLORSHIP to ASU.

What is still not real clear though, is if he had started to go to ASU on his own and then left because he couldn't afford it.
