The short story collections drive me up the wall also. I suspect her publisher wants to get as much $$$ out of her as they can. Most of her books reach the best selling lists. However the short stories lead me to think more about whether she took them out of her throw away files (books she decided not to write but publisher persuaded her to use for short stories)....It's disappointing. There are some other authers I like Greg Olsen and Caulfield. Do you have any? You can Freep Mail me if you like.

And I totally agree about Ann Rule and throw-away scripts. Easy and fast. I emailed her once and got an answer. She said she was recovering from hip replacement surgery. (I think she only answered because I named a mutual friend in law enforcement.)

Oh, I know, I know, that's very bold! But even a drive around the parking lot to see if anybody else is as bold as that, or see if there's a lot of people around...that's doable, no? Or maybe even going into the hotel and pretend you're lost and looking for the bar. It all depends on your comfort level.

Queen, Scott is so cool and unflappable with all these latest revelations swirling about him. IMHO, he is a stone cold psychopath. He's been getting away with these things probably for a decade. He thinks he's smart enough to get away with killing his wife and child because he's done it before!

The Vancouver pig farmer got rid of the bodies by feeding them to his pigs. Gacy buried them in his cellar. Peterson buries them under water.

I don't think I would be bold enough to carry a sign (unless there was a large group around doing the same thing), but I could go to the hotel and at least have a look around...but I have a feeling he won't even show.

Scott is arrogant, but I don't know if his family could withstand the public scrutiny and the awkwardness of going through the pretense of a search effort when the only reason most people will be there will be to gawk and point the finger at Scott. They may talk him out of it.
