As you stated, the kisses are rather tame if it's presented to the right age group. Two things about these programs presentations bother me. The emphasis isn't on just kissing. It's clear the kisses are not the end of the story. Secondly, at five to six p.m. who are the ones watching these programs? Kids old enough to watch are out of the home running around. It's the young ones that see this stuff and the inuendo that accompanies it.
Now, let's remember that it isn't outlawed to be a member of NAMBLA. This organization networks with the sole intent of furthering the idea of men and boys having sex. They pass around information that helps folks perpetrate and avoid paying the price. In light of this, just how bad is polygamy in comparison?
Not only this, but I was surprised to hear that it's a felony. NAMBLA is not offense. Polygamy is a felony.
Now if it's so bad, wouldn't you think the females would be guilty of something? No, there is no charge against the females involved in it.
Something is definately strange with regard to the enforcement of this infraction of the law.

I agree, it seems that the only reason the Media attacks the practice of polygamy is because of the Religion aspects. To the Media, it seems that you can have sex with any one or any think, but keep God out of the mix. Also, the media hates polygamy because it would be too easy a solution to the quandries faced by these "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants.

Other than "Mail Call", there isn't much worth watching.
I was going to suggest my beloved "Junkyard Wars" untilI remembered the team of artists from CA who had two guys smooching. Oy gevalt!

Yep. Just consider that if you call it "polygamy" it's illegal and immoral and if you call it "polyamory" it's a lifestyle choice.

You tell me - what's the difference between supposedly "mainstream" entertainment and pornography these days?
THing that makes me gag is that the producers and directors of these shows look down their noses at the pornography industry types

LOL, you're right. I think. Smile...

Why is it that two women kissing is considered sexy, whereas two men kissing is completely cringe-worthy?
To: MadIvan

Thanks a bunch, I just spend the last half hour looking at Pixie Boy. I think the man has issues.

Thanks for the translation.
I find it interesting how TV uses the 'laugh track' to make things funny which are actually disgusting. I sit there shocked by what I just saw and the laugh track is making it sound like there is an audience laughing like crazy. Are we really supposed to think that stuff is funny and not offensive? Or is this an example of 'moral engineering' by Hollywood?

By the way, just to clarify, just what kind of kiss is a "snog?" Tonsil hockey! :-)

No, there is no charge against the females involved in it. That's because they are not married to more than one person at the same time. The man is. If a woman had married multiple husbands she would be subject to prosecution too-- not that this would ever happen.
