Hi ascian,
I'll try your math challenge in post #376 with one die.
Again, I would choose to go second.
If my opponent had 0, 1, or 2: I'd throw the 3 die.
If my opponent had 3: I'd throw the 4 die.
If my opponent had 4: I'd throw the 5 die.
If my opponent had 5: I'd throw the 6 die.
If my opponent had 6: I'd throw the 6 die.
The odds for getting the winning number are higher on the lower numbered dies. The best you could do with the 6 die is a tie, and then you would have to repeat the contest.
