Actually, Jews are converting and leaving Judaism in large numbers, usually due to a marriage outside the faith. Also, Jews do welcome converts, but you are turned down the first two times that you ask. (tradition) A rabbi once told me that he thought the jewish message would win favor in a large portion of non-religious society because Jews are encouraged to study and question the scripture. (Of course there are all those pesky laws, but there is a tradition of a lot of philosophic thought. He went on to say that it is against jewish tradition to seek converts. (Something that usually makes people of other religions happy, since they are not threatened by a non-prosetylizing religion.
Well, excuse us.
but they also refuse to convert you to their faith.
Did you, or anybody you know attempt to convert to Judaism and was denied the opportunity?
To jews, only those that are born jews matter.
That's your opinion.. Unfortunately your opinion is not based on facts.. I'll be waiting for you to spin my post about Jews in the army..
