You are right that North Korea is NOT as isolated as portrayed. In their capitol, at this moment, are legions of Iraqis, Syrians, Iranians, Chechnyans, Czechs and various Soldiers of Fortune and Terror making deals for missiles, warheads, guns etc. They are a 100% black market weaponry economy, and it ain't going to friendly confines.
Second, Bill Richardson is a vile scumbag. The North Korean butchers - murderers - were looking for an opportunity to create an image to the world that the Bush Administration is to be shunned, and more reasonable and peaceful American "statesmen" are sympathetic and supportive of the North Korean position. Richardson had NO REASON to accept that visit, it was a destructive influence on our ability to negotiate with Pyongpang from a position of strength and resolve. That guy is a crook, remember when he got involved in the Monica hush campaign?
When Richardson met with those Commie thugs .... he's the Gov. of New Mexico for goodness sakes ... he demonstrated once again that there are NO Democrats who can be trusted or endured. They're soulless operators.
