Oh, what wonderful pictures. But, I'm starting to worry a little. It can't be good that part of me is envious of a 94 year old woman and two small dogs ;^)

(Thanks for all you do!)

I can't stop looking at that first pic, rintense; the President is looking at this precious woman as if she is HIS grandma.....how incredibly kind his heart is.....then, by contrast, I think of how incredibly formidable he would be if he were your enemy.....

Ummmmm.....guys......it was a figure of speech, or a metaphor, or a simile, or hyperbole, or onomotopoeia........ or something like that. :o)

I didn't mean that literally!! I'm as much in one piece as I've ever been........

I'll admit it, I got misty eyed because it was like Bush was with my Grandma.

By the way, his hair is getting really long and fluffy, isn't it?

I just LOVE it when his hair gets long and curly -- he looks even MORE youthful and (dare I say it?) sexy than he usually does!!!!!

Hey, DrDeb, did you see that Fox had a poll where the President's approval rating was down to 63%?

I still think that weekend Gallup thing was a set up. Like.....

"How do you feel about the President's tax cut that gives money back to the creepy undeserving rich people?? Doesn't that make you mad???"

".........uhhh....I guess so...."

"Put that down as a disapproval, Joe...."

What's great about his hair is that it's so genuine and natural - not the helmet-head that is so common in men of a certain age. (Obviously, he's got some curliness in there, and there's no way he'd sit still to get the blow-dried, moussed, sprayed, Edwards-Kerry-Lott phony look.)

One exception to the hair thing, though, is Brit Hume. His hair is definitely styled, but it's not pretentious like the phonies mentioned above.

I agree!! His hair does look so natural, it looks incredibly good like this. I bet Laura loves running her fingers through it. LOL, who wouldn't?

Good evening, ladies! His hair is not only longer and fluffy, it's much whiter compared to pictures of a year ago. White is very flattering to him ; )

That is such an awesome and touching picture. That is the true touch of compassion right there. You can't fake a touch and a look like that. The great think about President Bush is that not only does it look like he cares, but he really does care, and he takes the time to show he cares. And the people on the receiving end know he cares.

What a great picture!

rintense, that first picture is really, really special. It is now my wallpaper. It is so touching. And the pics with our First Doggies are adorable.

I'm praying for you for your Monday surgery, Dear one. God bless!

ohioWfan:I wasn't able to see the speech that the President gave, but I heard it was great. Thanks for the ping letting us know it was on, but I was at my world politics class. The book for that class has a picture of Dubya, so I kinda looked at that for an hour while I took notes. The class went by really quick today!

Wait4Truth: I saw the President greet his dogs today, and poor Spotty really looks like age is taking a toll on her. It looked like her hind legs were giving her a little bit of a problem. Does anybody remember how old she is? I know she was born in the WH but I don't remember what year.

I'm so sorry I didn't type anything in post 58. It's been a long day.

Here's what I was going to say:
I just love Dubya's hair long and starting to curl like it is. His older pictures with really curly hair are gorgeous! I hope he doesn't cut it, but methinks that he might trim it before the SotU Address. (Please no!) And I bet that Laura loves to run her fingers through it.
