Breaking on FOX News, more Information soon...
It was wonderful.
But this twit of a woman who kept calling me on my direct line thinking I was a hospital receptionist (six times), ended up being put on hold for the longest time so I could freep (this was after telling her she had the wrong number five times).
I was listening to the radio in my car yesterday (Wed.) and I think I was listening to the Hannity radio show (?). There was a guy on who was also an inspector on the Ritter team from the U.S.( not a caller, but a guest being interviewed), and he said there were French and German inspectors there as well. He said he couldn't say much until our government said he could, and then he'd tell everything to the American people and the press.
He said he knows Iraq has a plutonium plant, and train loads of chemical weapons. Not just tons, but actual rail road cars full. They just keep moving them around.
He said as soon as they discovered the plutonium plant, Iraq kicked the inspectors out. They couldn't search for more after that point.
He's the exact opposite of Ritter. Somethings going on, and Ritter is protecting Iraq. Maybe by Clinton order or threat of Arkansaside or something.
Did you hear him tell SR that he'd put SR on the 3rd tank going into Baghdad without any protective gear, because Scotty's so sure Saddam doesn't have chem/bio? Ha.
What a mean-faced guy SR is. He looks like he's going crazy to me. I don't get him at all. But then no one does. The general had a perplexing look on his face, almost sorrowful, but not quite, maybe it was contempt.
(See post 603). Maybe Ritter is lieing, and the general knows it, but doesn't now why.
Bush knows Saddam has the weapons. He's sure enough to push it this far.
Ritter is protecting Saddam, but why?
Or protecting the Clinton legacy, and why?
By this time, I was howling--I mean, waking the dog up from his leg-twitching dream/I have the hiccups from laughing so hard--howling. But Greta cutting off a guest with this casual, off-hand mid-sentence statement, and, without missing a beat, going back to her question? It was MASTERFUL. It was MUST SEE TV.
Yes, it's such a puzzle. I hope we learn the answer to this one someday. I sometimes wonder if it's something to do with his wife. Is someone getting to SR by threatening her or her family? She's Chechan, or from some other former province of Russia, at least so I've read. There may be a connection there, or it could be $$$ of course.
It was! And Greta is quite the interviewer, I think. She can slice and dice about as well as Linda Vester.
Oh no. Now I'll have to wait up to watch it. I hope it's on again. Right now it's almost midnight EST. I don't think Gretta comes on again until one. ARG.
When Hannity had to cut the anti-war peacenicks mic, I literally burst out laughing at the guy. He kept talking anyway!!
Remember that Ritter has done a 180 since he was paid $400k by US resident--an Iraqi who's an Iraqi sympathizer to make a movie about Iraq, that Ritter was invited to speak & did speak before the Iraqi Assembly (last year), and had made a prior visit to Iraqi last year. He's written a book (well, booklet) with far left winger William River Pitt and he's gotten himself involved with a group that, at best, can be described as "progressive," but from what I've seen, very very left wing, bordering on Green.
BTW, when Ritter called his own remarks "inflammatory," I yelled at the screen, "BUT YOU WROTE THEM!" You heard me, didn't you?

Iraqi television footage shows a U.N. weapons inspector standing over one of the empty warheads said by the U.N. to be designed to carry chemical warfare agents, at the Ukhaider Ammunition Storage Area 75 miles south of Baghdad on January 16, 2003. A U.S. official said the warheads did not represent a 'smoking gun' that could mean war. (Reuters) |
Dashole?
Actually, I didn't hear you shouting that,
because I was shouting the same thing at the same time!
It looks like she comes on at 2 am Central, so 3 am ET. What time zone are you in, are you out west? (Just don't want you to miss it, if you really want to catch it.)
Uhhh, what I heard was that Uday's dog ate the paperwork
