If I were the UN, I would pull out my inspectors shortly before something happens to be by the Iraqi's with tensions mounting.

Well said...By the way, this Dem doesn't think there's anything wrong seeing the evidence first before we put our brothers and sisters in harm's way...
We got the goods. God bless our fighting men and women...Be safe, deadly and quick!

To avert war. Want Iraqi generals to join in. Since they don't have their phone numbers, getting the word out on CNN. And let's be clear on why: a war with Iraq makes the Saudi royal family vulnerable to the salamikazes in their midst. Now that war is looking them in the eye, they're focused on the fact that a war probably won't happen if Saddam goes away.

IMHO..Our intelligence is much better than we'll ever know. That's why it's so ridiculous about all these "movie stars turned war experts" complaining about "poor Saddam" and "liar Bush."

I have been getting ready to bake some cookies for the last hour plus but everytime I go to take a break something else happens.
President back at the WH -- helicopter has landed.
Expect words from the President on this breech according to Fox.

Meanwhile, CNN speculated minutes ago that this would be called an 'accounting error' and could not be a material breach because they are empty.

The Saudi royals are nothing if not self-serving. If anyone can get them in line, Pres. Bush and Condi Rice can.

That is what they are saying on Fox -- would assume they have inside word of what was not in the document submitted by Sadaam.

Whether U.S. military force is used or not, Saddam is going down. All this pressure we've been exerting on everybdoy would amount to nothing if we didn't have the muscle to back it up. The military makes our pressure "credible", so to speak.
So even if Saddam's own people get rid of him (and I mean get rid of, not exile) and we don't need to actually use the military, the military buildup itself won't have been a waste.
What it amounts to is that the U.S. has a whomping big stick to back up our pressure, and President Bush has been unafraid to wave it around. If the threat of force does the trick rather than actual force, then all the better, really.
But if we do use military force, I'm thinking mid-February will be when it happens.
