Isn't today the anniversary of the first Gulf War?
To: Sender
National Security "expert" on CNN saying these could be old. Which part of excellent condition doesn't he understand? Can't bury something for years in the sand and have it come up excellent condition. The appeasers will be out in force and the media will only want to interview them.

They just said on Fox that the last two days the inspectors have been working with US intelligence sources to make their inspections. Looks like our intelligence was correct and they haven't even given them everything we have. That heart shaped face woman on MSNBC just said with a strate face that the inspectors found this without U.S. intellegence info, which shows that the inspectors are doing a good job.

And the sad part is he will be believed by those who are desperate... desperate to avoid war - no matter the justness of our cause. Many of them lead tedious lives and, sadly, believe nothing is worth living nor dying for.

Is there any indication as to the caliber of the warheads? The articles above say 122 mm shells. According to this site, that's a pretty common weapon for the Iraqi army.
These guns are probably variants of the Russian Layagushka artillery piece.

Thats right!! With your group's mentality O.J. was innocent. Following your analogy; would the warheads loaded, prefire, be a violation? Probably not from your perspective...How about in the air to their target. Of course we would then have to consider motivation, frame of mind, Saddam's childhood etc...
Even Blix is complaining about violations now.

MSNBC quotes a 'Senior Administration Official' calling this a 'SMOLDERING GUN.'

MSNBC is nuts -- Fox reporter from DoD said our intelligence is what is allowing the inspectors to find evidence.
I believe Fox over MSNBC who must have gotten their memo from the clintons on what to say!

Good hearing from you. Where have you been? You know well what the Hollywood left is all about. I don't question their motives. I think they really do want a better world. Unfortunately, they are ruled by emotions, while we tackle the problem logically. That makes us mean spirited. Some leftists, however, certainly are evil. The Clintons come to mind.

I found a somewhat longer, but also accurate line from one of two articles Tom Clancy wrote after 9/11:
From:
http://www.femail.co.uk/pages/news/article.html?in_article_id=72728
"Military organisations exist for only one mission: killing people and breaking things. This is not something to be undertaken lightly, because life is a gift from God, and a lot of these people - kids, really - can be found in church on Sunday mornings. But their larger purpose - the reason these kids enlist, both in my country and in yours - is to preserve, protect, and defend their nations and the citizens who live there.
"It's not an easy job, but someone has to do it, and typically the hardest jobs attract the best of us. Mostly they never have to kill anybody, and that's okay with them. It's knowing that they are able to do something difficult and dangerous that gives them their pride.
"This purpose, defending their country, is something they don't talk much about, but it's always there, and with it comes a quiet, steely look in the eyes. Especially when something like this happens. That's when their sense of self is insulted, and these are people who do not bear insults well.
"They are protectors, and when those whom they are sworn to protect are hurt, then comes the desire - the lust - to perform their mission. Even then it's quiet. They will not riot or pose before TV cameras or cry aloud for action, because that's not their way. They are the point of the lance, the very breath of the dragon, and at times like this they want to know the taste of blood.
"Their adversaries just don't appreciate what they are capable of. It's something too divorced from their experience. This isn't like hosing civilians with your machine-gun or setting off a bomb somewhere, or killing unarmed people strapped and helpless inside a commercial aircraft.
"This means facing professional warriors at a time and place of their choosing, and that is something terrorists don't really prepare for."
Somehow, I don't think Saddam's ready for that, either.

Lets see them dispute this....
A 12th warhead also was found that requires further evaluation, according to a statement by Hiro Ueki, the spokesman for U.N. weapons inspectors in Baghdad. The presence of the shells, even if empty, would put Saddam Hussein in violation of the U.N. resolution ordering Iraq to disarm, former weapons inspector Tim Trevan told Fox News. Ueki said the warheads were found at the Ukhaider Ammunition Storage Area in southern Iraq, which was built in the late 1990s.
I wonder if this facility is pre or post Scott Ritter.
