I would love to see him defeated.

And the only reason he got the prize was to spite Bush!

Darn, could it be Jimmy's recollections of that "killer rabbit" that attacked him on his vacation trip? Is that not called projecting your fears into fantasy? I am laughing so hard.

Carter was so offended by the tone of last falls Senate campaign in which Republican Saxby Chambliss defeated Democratic Sen. Max Cleland after questioning the patriotism of the quadraplagic Vietnam war hero Just wait until we question YOUR patriotism, you peanuthead Communist son-of-a-bitch. Then you will REALLY be offended.

'You mean again?' Reagan did that in 1980!
But Carter still won in Georgia that year.

I hope he runs and gets trounced. The Worst President , besides Bubba, in my lifetime.

If Jimmy Carter runs for Zell Miller's seat in the Senate, The good people of Georgia will make Walter Mondale's agonizing defeat in Minnesota last November look mild compared to the a$$ whipin Jimmy Carter will suffer in his home state.
Jimmy Carter was a complete and utter failure. He is a good Christian man who has good intentions, but lacks any kind of vision and he couldn't resist bending over and shine the shoes of each and every Third World Dictator he ever met.
To this day, When a thrid world dictator wants to get some face time or some western media ink or to spread some of their anti-american propaganda, They call on Jimmy Carter. Plain and simple, The guy is a sucker

I have little respect for Carter's intellect or his intentions. He was totally embittered by his loss to Reagan, and has never gotten over it. He is the first ex-president (correct me if I am wrong) to make a career of second-guessing and undermining his successors, particularly if they are Republicans. His international mediation efforts are always touted as "breakthroughs," yet always end in failure.
To: Steve_Seattle
You do have a point about Carter's second guessing. But to be fair, He has been consistant, I remember him shooting his mouth off over Clinton's stand on North Korea (
Not the Clinton would have followed through with any of his threats) but he was mouthing off like he always does when War is a possibility and force might be neccessary
The fact is Jimmy Carter is spineless and he makes the french look brave :-)

The 1980 electoral map brings back sweet memories of an intoxicating college bar hopping hell raising night.
