Perhaps it it you who is not LISTENING.

You do realize, don't you, that in an ordinary situation, Bush would NOT even participate in this suit.

The ONLY reason he's speaking out today is because of the situation Trent Lott has put the GOP in.

It's called separation of powers; look it up.

What is wrong is that the Presidnet doesn't have to be out in front on EVERY issue as soon as it is raised. Don't you remember how x42 used to do that? It was always about HIM, and he would make sure everyone knew it.

President Bush knows that there are things more important in this country than his personal opinion on every single subject. He has come out and spoken when it is his function as a Preaident to do so. He knows when to speak out AND when to keep his own counsel!
