He did the right thing thanks to a grassroots movement of concerned Americans! He did the right thing because of the kind of man he is.
And you had nothing to do with it.

No. And that is pure luck. With our borders unprotected it would be very easy to just walk across the border and launch an attack.

The upside: It's (P)MSNBC. Nobody will see it, and those who do won't believe it...

For purposes of documentation, C-SPAN carried the President's words live, and then went DIRECTLY to a PREVIOUSLY FILMED (earlier today) statement by Elijah Cummings, MD Dem who is head of the Congressional Black Caucus. Teddy Kennedy is at his elbow. Gag!

What I like about GW is his willingness to stand up and say this himself. A certain former president would have fanned out his minions on all the Sunday talk shows to hit the talking points and say where the administration stood, without the administration himself actually taking a position.
To: Karsus
We are NOT discussing those issues on THIS thread; go find the threads where they ARE being discussed.....and lose your arguments over there, too.

Yes, but they're typing way to fast.....It jumped from 68 to 130, in a snap, lol!
It will do you no good to try to keep up either....they're way faster than anyone's ability to read (well almost anyone) I'd just have a snack and come back later to catch up (-;

Thanks. I was wondering what that (piece of slime) reporter said/meant.
To: Karsus
"Please explan furthur."Sure thing. I will explain further.
You said you wished W had said that he was not for quotas much sooner. (And, of course, he did so when he was a candidate, and again when he became president.) So I thought perhaps you might like to let him in on your sense of impeccable timing for all his statements, in addition to telling him when he should awaken each morning.
It's always something with you, eh?
To: TLBSHOW
He did the right thing thanks to a grassroots movement of concerned Americans! You are one FUNNY child, TLB!!
ROFLOL!! Hey everybody!!!
The President had NO idea what to do about an issue (that he just happened to have taken a strong stand on YEARS ago) until TLB came along and set him straight!!
ROFLOL!!!!

Damnit. Wanting the goverment to get out of peoples lives, wanting the goverment to shrink/cut spending/waste, and wanting to do away with the IRS makes you a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT NOW???

Next on MSNBC : Jesse Jackson responds to President Bush And he'll still be bitching about somehing that happened 200 years ago. Get over it, Jessie. It's 2003!
To: Jim Noble
Diversity, as a goal, is absurd. No it's not. There are legitimate reasons to favor things like a more diverse student body.
The absurdity is that diversity has become the goal, and nothing is allowed to stand in its way.

Jesse Jackson says we need reparations! And that Bush would never have gotten into Yale without quotas!
Losers!
To: Karsus; Howlin
Yes, he has.
Have we seen it? No. But then again, he was honest enough to say that on September 20, 2001.

I do not care about timing. I care about doing the 'RIGHT THING'. One of the major problems with America these days is people are more concerned about timing than doing the RIGHT THING.
