I'm just glad Buck decided the keep the operation in the U.S.
The way things are going it would not have been shocking if they announced they were going to move manufacturing to Mexico or China.

I have some of their small pocketknives with boxes that say "Mexico." I suspect they were assembled in Mexico with parts produced in the US.
With this upcoming move I wonder whether they will consolidate operations in Idaho?

Buck knives are cool and so is Idaho...I'm glad they found each other...and don't worry Gov. Davis... you'll only need to raise the taxes a little bit to make up for this.

I bought some for a Christmas gift this year and was saddened to find that they were made in China. Damn...

That will happen when economic conditions in the US get bad enough to make the move profitable.
