LACI PETERSON UPDATE- 1-14-03
Fox News- On The Record
| 1-14-03
| Greta Van Sustern
Posted on 01/15/2003 1:12:22 AM PST by DWar
Van Sustren interviewed 20 year Berkley Bay fisherman Craig Stone. Stone said that nothing about what Scott Peterson did on the fishing trip to Berkley Bay seemed out of the ordinary to him from a fishing viewpoint. The bait was appropriate and available. The sturgeon were available. The boat size was not unusual. The optimal fishing area was not far off shore. The fish are prized but not easily caught. The time of day peterson was fishing was appropriate. It all seemed plausable to him.

The same person posted that there was a new rather large insurance policy on her that seemed odd because she was planning to be a stay at home mom.

The same poster posted an article about the blood, the girlfriend, the insurance and the cement and bucket that SP claimed he used to make anchors for his boat.

Remembering the leaks from another well known case, I would have to think there is something to what you found out. I can't imagine what her parents are going through..and now to have doubts on the person they've been helping get throught it I'm sure they are going crazy.

I guess he thinks we are all as stupid as he is. He's been watching too many murder mysteries or court tv.

"Wonder why he didn't asnwer with a NO "
He's probably been advised by an atty to avoid any and all questions about his relationship with her.. G'nite..

I know ALOT of people from Turlock (used to live there) do they have a name or picture up yet? You know, I KNEW i'd seen SP around before ... Regarding the pic, I don't know if there is one yet, no mention of this, that I saw, on FOX last night. Wonder if you did see SP around......very interesting. I used to know people in Turlock (not closely). After high school, one of my friends went to Columbia (Junior ?) College and I went up there a couple of times to see her and stayed in Turlock while there. This was over 20 years ago.....I bet it's grown since then, but I remember how beautiful it was up there. Ping me if you get any "inside" info as to your hunch that you think you saw him....that would be interesting.

not rocket science to figure what Dennis Rocha is thinking. You were right; I see you find this thread.....interesting developments, RGSpincich, given what our initial impressions were of SP....and your way earlier comments to me on the other thread about Dennis Rocha.

If he truly cared about keeping interest up in the case he would be PUTING HIMSELF IN FRONT OF CAMERAS and being the picture of a distraught husband Like the Smart family....

Do you know if there was an insurance policy on her? Allegedly, yes; there was mention of her having a small insurance policy on him, but that he had (recently?) taken out a large policy on her......that's posted earlier in this thread (don't know the source of info at this time), I think back at 180 or somewhere....I'll go check.

See #375. It was a $250K policy, which he recently got on her.
