How about calling other state's republican senators, they can't hang up on you, right? Let them know that your senators aren't responding to their constituents and you wanted to be heard.
Amazingly I've gotten through to both of my senators~democrat and republican.

Well, as I said on another thread today,
The Party of Perjury and Obstruction of Justice, the Party of Voter Fraud, the Party of Race-Baiting, the Party of Class Envy and Class Warfare, the Party of Appeasement, the Party of Sedition, has now become the Party of Tyranny. Congrats, Democrats! And people thought you didn't have a vision or a message....
To: MrsEmmaPeel
So you don't agree with what The President said about Lott?
The rats would of done this no matter what wake up! Anyways it may be a blessing that they did do this. Think back to when we did it and what happened at the next election.

Emergency Contribution Reply to support President Bush and counter Senator Daschle and the Lefts all-out assault on his Presidency.
Yes, I want to help the AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE UNION help President Bush! I share your outrage at how Democrat leaders in Congress - led by Tom Daschle - are attacking President Bush at every opportunity in order to score partisan political points and pave the way for Democrats to win back control of the White House in 2004. I want to help you and the AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE UNION sustain widespread public support for President Bush. And I want to help generate an enormous public backlash against Tom Daschle and Senate Democrats for their partisan political attacks on President Bush. I am pleased to learn that the AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE UNION is Americas oldest and largest conservative grassroots lobby, that you were started in 1964 and that you now have more than 500,000 members and supporters - which means I can be confident that this campaign will be effective and that President Bush will take notice of my FAXGRAM. I also understand you need immediate contributions to help reach 100,000,000 Americans with a major media campaign of TV, radio, newspaper ads and voter education mailings to counter the massive assault on President Bush by Tom Daschle and the Democrats thats taking place right now. In addition, I want to see Congress overrun with letters, swamped with phone calls, and even contacted by their constituents in person, demanding support for President Bushs court appointments and conservative legislative agenda. I agree that we cannot afford to see President Bush fail. To help fund this emergency CALL-TO-ACTION youve described in your letter, I am sending my best contribution below:IMPORTANT NOTICE: A minimum contribution of $15 is needed to cover our cost to process your FAXGRAM to President Bush in time for his STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS later this month.
Thank you so much for your support at this crucial time in the Bush Presidency!

Could not get through to my AZ Senators as the lines were busy so sent them an email the said:
We won, period. the 2/3 -1/3 rule is now back in effect. Forget negotiations bring it to a vote for the chairs and the reorganization let the opposition in a time of war embarrass themselves in front of the country.
Sure hope they listen.

And here was the lead of the e-mail I got from them...
It's Time To "Take The Gloves Off" Against Tom Daschle and the Liberal Senate Democrats, Mr. President!
Dear Friend of President Bush,
Please let me send a FAXGRAM in your name to President Bush in time for his upcoming STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS to the nation.
I've attached a copy of the FAXGRAM I'd like to send in your name, to President Bush (along with tens of thousands of other FAX GRAMS I'm seeking to send).
This FAXGRAM urges President Bush to "Take The Gloves Off" in his dealings with Democrat leaders in the Senate (led by Democrat Majority Leader Tom Daschle).
This FAXGRAM urges President Bush, in his upcoming nationally televised STATE OF THE UNION speech, to specifically name liberal Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (and the Democrat leadership in the Senate) as the sole reason for gridlock in Washington.

Hannity reaches about 10 million on radio a week and Rush is 3 times Rathers numbers.
But the real deal is Fox.
Veiwers of abcbsmsnbcnn are leaving in droves for fair and balanced news.
add in the internet and I can assure our message will get out.

'rats obstructed and were voted out of power in 02...an off year election. They have no bully pulpit in the WH and no majority power in the congress. Now they are losing the battle of the media to Fox, talk radio and the internet.
Things have changed for the better and it's about time.

My Letter to Daschle:
To the Honorable Tom Daschle:
Senator Daschle,
When the Senate was divided 50/50 after the 2000 elections the Republicans still held the majority by virtue of Vice President Cheney being the tie breaking vote, The then Senate Majority Leader, (Trent Lott), agreed to split the funding for the Committees with the Democrats as a gesture of good will. In return, you aggressively went after someone to switch parties and give the Democrats the majority. You managed to get Jim Jeffords to become an independent and coffer with the Democrats with a variety of promises and back room deals. You then became the majority leader in what many think was highly questionable and illegitimate fashion. I guess your guilty conscience persuaded you to keep the funding split 50/50 as you spent the next 15 months doing your very best to obstruct legislative progress and blocked over 50 Bills from being debated and voted on.
The Mid-Term Elections in November 2002 should have sent you and your party a clear message that the American people wanted to see things get done in the 108th Congress. In Case you missed it, YOU LOST and your party is no longer in the Majority. Bill Frist is the legitimate(emphasis added) Majority Leader and does not owe you a thing and I encourage him to ignore your OUTRAGEOUS demands. For two long years this country has had to suffer because of your inability to do the job you were elected to do and I hope the good people of South Dakota send you the same message many of your colleagues received on November 6th, 2002 and adds you to the long list of unemployed in this country, thanks to your obstructionist tactics.
Tom Daschle I urge to cease and suspend this childish maneuvering and do the job the people have elected you to do.
.
Sincerely,
A Concerned American

This is what I wrote to both Boxer and Feinstein...
Dear Ms. Boxer,
As a taxpayer I will not tolerate this stunt from the Democrats to withhold Committee Chairmanships from Republicans.
This is to remind you that there are 11 new Senators without Committees and I am holding you, and your party, responsible for this attempt to hijack the Senate!
I didn't refer to either of them as "Senator" ...simply Ms., as neither of them are acting like Senators!!!
Great Thread - THANK YOU for reminding us to write and call!

Thanks for sending to your two women in the Senate. I always refer to ms. clinton and never use the word Senator because I have zero respect for her.
Getting there fast of having zero respect for all RAT Senators. This stunt of theirs on Chairmanships is as low as it gets.
Am still totally steamed I must admit!
