I wonder what PD will say to the Almighty one day, when he, like you and I, will have to give an account. LOL, all the people that "know" their is no G-d, or that Jesus is not the only way to Him, are going to be speechless on that day. I have some advice for those of you who are like-minded with bro. Phil: if you don't believe, it's best that you keep it to yourself. Bad enought to make the wrong decision on your own behalf, but if you "help" someone else to take the wrong road, you will only make it worse for yourself on that day. My true wish is that you yourself will make the right decision, but if you're too obstinate or ignorant, don't take anyone with you. Believe me, you will not need to take any "company" with you: there will be plenty down there waiting on you when you get there.....

Donahue is a lapsed Catholic. In his heart he knows that Christianity is valid and true but for him to soothe his own conscience and justify his own actions he has to marginalize the faith.

I don't know what he will say, but it will look something like this:

Isaiah 5, 15 So man will be brought low and mankind humbled, the eyes of the arrogant humbled.

Opps, there I go, being a bigot again....

That is correct, but more than likely, they will be so caught up in their own misery and agony, that they will not care that they have a lot company.

I'm afraid unless Phil repents, the Lord will say to him and others like him, "Depart from me, you evildoer. I never knew you." Too bad. He's getting his chance and is too blind to see it.

Indeed, what will Phil say when he stands before the judgement? My gues is that the same liberal arrogance he now spouts will attempt to spew, only to be hushed and sadly condemmed by his own words.

It wasn't Jerry Falwell, or any TV evangelist, that set the conditions....Falwell answered just as he should have, with Jesus making the claim Himself....Jesus said, "NO MAN, comes to the Father but by Me." It is clear, it is simple, it is absolute. Most, if not all, the disciples DIED for saying the same....I once had a so-called "Christian" preacher say to me, "Do you really think the Father is so cruel that he will send everyone to hell that doesn't believe in Jesus?".....My answer, as best I recall was, "Why did the Father allow Jesus to be tortured, mocked, spit upon and executed?... for NOTHING?" "What kind of love for his son was that?".....the CROSS was a price that was paid...it was what ALL people desereve.....and not all self-proclaimed "Christians" will enter heaven...so said CHRIST, "In that day, many will say, Lord did I not do great things in your name, and I will answer DEPART FROM ME. I NEVER knew you."...It is NOT enough to just KNOW who Jesus was and what he claimed. Jesus said, "Even the demons know who I am and tremble."

Perhaps the Almighty will accept Philsie's pronouncements as an opt-out notification regarding his salvation.....

I like the way Barry McGuire put it one time in discussing salvation with a non-believer. He said "if I'm wrong, I haven't lost a thing, but if you're wrong you've lost everything, even your very soul."
