As the Cherry Picker moves back in, Channel 9 cuts to a commercial featuring Laker loser Rick Fox.

Wow, who's the genius at the PD who decided to do the eviction but give the nutters time to swamp the site? 50-50 now that the cops lose out. Friday night and a bunch of liquored/doped up neo-hippies, naw, no chance of an ugly scene about to play out. All in time for the 11 o'clock news.

There are about 100 protesters on site. Millions more stay home and go about their lives.

That reminds me of a question that I'm not supposed to ask in mixed company.

Long ago some people used to do pole-sitting as a publicity stunt. One guy was atop a pole for a couple of months to try and spur the Cleveland Indians to victory. Do these pole and tree-sitters go on all liquid diet? Logistics, ya know. Don't there knees get sore not being able to move around much?

Maybe they needed time to get back up from the Cookeville Tenn PD professionals.

They showed his perch in daylight in the LA Slimes today. There were buckets everywhere. I can just imagine the smell.

What's the latest? And why don't people in LA go nuts when their shows get preempted for hours at a time every single day?

The clock is ticking. Deadline is about fifteen minutes away. So far there has been no TV interupting. Channel 9 has a nine oclock news hour.

I have a 4,000,000 year old rock on my property. Can I expect this idiot to squat on it if I decide to haul it to the dumps next week?

I hear sales of Cartman's 'It' invention are quite brisk in that city.

Thanks. Why is there a deadline?
