Your comment reveals the long-term outcome of a US pullout of S. Korea. China will not allow either Korea to live free and our leaving would simply cause China to rename the entire penninsula. Within days it would be called the "Chinese Penninsula" and they would own it lock, stock, and nuke. And my guess is that both Japan and Russia would have very little to say about it.
