Look at the bright side: For at least 90 days this JBT will not be shooting Eagle Scouts in the face or killing anyone's dog during a bogus 'felony stop' ...

A year ago December 5th, my mother, Shirley Norkunas, was killed in a car wreck. She was on her way to a Dr.'s appointment. The roads and weather were clear, it was about 9 in the morning, the place was just south of Superior, WI on State Hwy 35. She was driving north toward Superior.
A fellow named Thomas Frankot was heading south that morning, driving on a suspended license. He crossed into my mother's lane, she was killed instantly in the resulting crash.
Thomas Frankot lived. He is essentially judgement proof, with very few assets.
He, after much wrangling, finally pled guilty in September to driving after suspension and driving left of center.
He was fined $363, license suspended for six months, and given sixty days to pay.
That's not even the funny part.
Last I checked, he had not paid the fine, even though the sixty days had lapsed. I asked the clerk of courts what happens then.
They suspend his license.
Now, that's justice for ya.

First-time DUI offenders typically serve less than a month in jail and often leave the courthouse without serving a day. There is a difference between a first-time DUI who killed people and one who didn't.

Your headline is a little misleading. The guy is a former FBI agent according to the article.

"The case drew enormous community attention because the brothers had initially been blamed for the crash before Florida Highway Patrol reversed its findings. Protesters claimed bias against young black men in favor of a white law enforcement officer."
I hope someone investigates whether the FHP showed bias (not racial, that's probably bunk that the race-baitors are introducing, but rather pro-LE bias.) Maybe Jeb Bush can order the FHP to investigate this question, and toss out anyone who favored Farral. (I suppose first Jeb will check and see whether the polls are saying people are disturbed by this issue...)

He needs a year in jail/prison minimum. He got way with this crap because he's a white LEO and two dead men are black. It's one thing to drive drunk (say 1.2) and other thing to drive drunk, drive fast enough and stupid enough to kill others.
