I haven't been able to hear much of Rush today. Was there anything particularly good that you can share

He's been quoting all the various dems and news media about how bad Bush's proposal is but the best quote of the day was Tom Delay on the 12 week extension of unemployment. The dems are now squealing like pigs that it's not enough (Hillary actually blindsided Frist by proposing an amendment to increase it to 26 weeks! Fortunately that died in it's tracks) Anyway, Delay said what the democrats really want is to extend unemployment indefinately so a person NEVER has to go back to work LOL.

He's right about that. Well, if the Dims get their way, then sign me up. If I didn't have to work, I could freep and skate all the time! LOL.

They were saying how terrible his proposal is before he even made his speech.

Our local talk radio station has been having subs after Rush's slot and I don't know where they dug up these folks but they are really annoying me. The last 3 days has been nothing but griping and complaining about how horrible Bush's proposal is. And class warfare - geez Louise. The level of ignorance about economic principles is astounding.

Hi dutchess and dansy. I am late getting here today......and was a complete no-show yesterday. I feel bad about that, but can't be helped sometimes. *sigh* :-(

I heard just a little bit of Rush today. He named the 11 richest Senators in office and nine out of 11 were Dems, with Kerry heading the list. Course he married all that 600+ million bucks he has!!! (I never buy Heinz catsup anymore, have switched to Hunt's)And Maria Cantwell was on the list. I thought she lost all her money and Hillary had to do a fundraiser for her last year to cover her campaign expenses?

The rest of the time I listened to him it was mostly about football and his birthday coming up this weekend. He is so thrilled with Bush's proposal and the way he delivered his last two speeches...
