Let Herr Schumer filibuster until his lips fall off. This guy represents NY, not the US.

Boy, you'd think from the Democratic Party uproar that Pickering had once held a high-ranking postition in the KKK.

Where did you get that info from? Word around here is that Peter King is talking about running for it - but I've yet to hear anything about Rudy running for it. Frankly, it would surprise me if he were to do that. I see him running for Governor in 2006. No info to back that one up - just my own feelings.
In any event - I agree with you - UpChuck Schumer needs to GO!

Every major black group in Miss. supports Pickering. Schumer is a racist.

This is great news. A Northeast Liberal will destroy any of the political capital the Democrats earned in the South over the GOP abandoning Lott.

Does anyone have that picture of that poster with the GI holding a cup of coffee?
That seems appropriate here...

I don't know about that.
Little known fact: Rudy appointed Chuckie's wife, Iris Weinshall, Department of Transportation Commissioner. Ms. Chuckie has retained this post under Bloomberg.

Hmmmmmm. The politics of this are rather interesting.
Why Schumer? Was he selected for this? Is he doing it on his own? (Not likely)

Let him do it. Hopefully, Bush is more prepared this time around and he will forcefully support Pickering. Pickering has tremendous support in Mississippi - both black and white - and they need to be brought forth.
Chuckie doesn't realize that part of the reason for the electoral victory for the GOP in November 2002 was their obstructionist tactics in the judiciary committee. Go for it Chuckie!

amen...anyone can whup a liberal yankee NY Senator
I think that NY's two senators are as vulnerable
to losing re-election ,it is well the most unwritten story
out there.....I'd court NY like a virgin 19 year old, but do
it with God's gloves on. Honest, straight forward and
in native NY speak. NY knows truth tellers and NY needs
good press.

Bring it on -- Schumer and friends will reveal the venemous hate flowing full stream force within class envy socialist liberalism.
