Atkins, yes indeed. http://www.atkinscenter.com will give you lots and lots of info.

Even if you don't have a problem with insulin, cutting carbs, refined flour and sugar while substituting protein (and protein cooked in butter and olive oil, etc.), lower-carb veggies, low-sugar fruits, nuts, seeds (sunflower seeds are very good for us), and such will do wonders for anyone -- health- and weight-wise. Atkins sells his own candy bar that's vitamin, mineral and nutrient packed, and there are lots of ways to make up for no sugar (or very little sugar). Splenda is a great sugar substitute.

ohio, he WAS on the sensitive side! Or just massively defensive. I think he was accusing me of what he was doing. ;-)

Stevia is a good sugar substitute as well.
