As expected, President Bush announced his economic stimulus plan today in Chicago, and surprised many with how comprehensive and 'bold' it was. In the plan, 92 million taxpayers would receive, on average, a tax cut of $1,083 in 2003. The plan would also adjust the tax rates to 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 35%. Also today, the new Republican Senate majority was sworn in, and their first priority was to extend unemployment benefits, a plan the President supports. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

the next question will be: How long will people accept the party line of sacrifice and starvation for the sake of a nuclear reactor Not sure .. but my heart goes out to many living there .. I have read the stories of how the people are treated there ..
And you are right .. change has to come from that region

Don't get a haircut W! I like it long!
Hey girls, I'm with you on this. I love this look - a little longish and curly. Very appealing.

Sorry. I only took ancient philosophy, and even then the only thing I got out of it was how to debate logically and tear apart liberal arguments.

Well, daughter #1 is in a Medieval Philosophy PhD program, and just had a course on Plato.
'Platonic' does NOT mean what I thought it meant! Ewwwwwwww!!!

Thanks for clarifying the different Daleys. They look somewhat alike to me.

Hey Nan, I don't consider myself a procrastinator. I just LOVE my Christmas tree and decorations. I'm still enjoying them. LOL Maybe this weekend I'll think about taking them down. Slowly. :-)

Post #32 on your linked thread, Mo1,
has mjy1288 saying that Santorum let
Hillary have it. That's a fact.
But Howlin says Daschle?
I don't know.....

Brrrrrrr. It's cold in Minn. Tell him to bundle up good and stay well. I'm glad he hasn't been called and I too hope he doesn't. Give him a big hug for me and tell him I love him, and God bless him along the way.

No. I actually find her quite refreshing. She is a psych major, using her $$$ to pay for her own schooling, and is very private on affairs of politics and life outside of work and media. While I may not agree with her choice of being a vegy person, that is her choice. That is why I said I would reserve comment.

How about that! Here I was wanting to enjoy my tree for a while yet and feeling as if I was breaking some sort of "Martha Stewart" law or something, so I dug in and packed it all up today. Oh, horse feathers!

I see. I must've read over the post too quickly. Is she going to Harvard?
So many actors think that since they are always in the public eye, they can just give their views on anything whenever they want. They jsut don't know that we want them to stand there with their mouths shut and look "pretty."
