A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 1/7/03

As expected, President Bush announced his economic stimulus plan today in Chicago, and surprised many with how comprehensive and 'bold' it was. In the plan, 92 million taxpayers would receive, on average, a tax cut of $1,083 in 2003. The plan would also adjust the tax rates to 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 35%. Also today, the new Republican Senate majority was sworn in, and their first priority was to extend unemployment benefits, a plan the President supports. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

WHAT? Oh man, now I have to go check. Ohio just thought he had it slicked down a bit more. Even so, at least it isn't the short, short that he oftens does. LOL!

Titanium maybe? Very strong, and light so the weight of the "big ones" doesn't slow him down.

LOL! Yes, we wouldn't want those things dragging on the ground, would we? Then again, I'd love for the RATS to SEE them!

ohio, thought you would enjoy El Gato's remark. Hehehehe...

Goodnight, all!

That's why they are actors and not writers or some other profession. For them, it is too easy to assume being someone else instead of themselves. (I'll reserve comment on Natalie Portman for further study.)

Ha! And I thought I was the very last person in America to take down the decorations. I was actually having guilt feelings over it. I feel so much better now that I know I'm not the only procrastinator around.

Daschle STILL arguing about extending benefits for 26 weeks, making a big deal out of it, even after he's been told the House won't vote for it.

Oh, Santorum is giving Daschle hell......"Let's continue the bill YOU proposed, you passed in the last session. What changed the dynmanics,Senator, that now the bill you passed under YOUR LEADERSHIP is not good enough today. Stop playing politics!"

Oh, this is gonna be FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!

Think of them, every evening, driving
a "romantic" drive in their pickup.

That's what she said!

They just love all that driving.

Yes. In Minnesota.

He'll just do his weekends there, but do his two weeks in the summer from home.

He hasn't heard anything about deployment yet............his Mom is praying he doesn't.

Oh well, Clooney's another one to add to my growing list of actors I will no longer patronize. I hope his next film tanks!!

Your wish is being granted, it seems. According to the interview I just saw on O'Reilly with the writer of the GQ article, Clooney's newest film has seemingly tanked!

O'Reilly was comparing Clooney to Alec Baldwin who used to be a "star" and is now in the doldrums. Watch out, Clooney, you're about to join the ranks of the has-beens. Plenty of people are fed up with the likes of these Hollyweirdos.

If you delete your FR cookie, all you have to do is sign in using your screen name and password (once you sign in your name, the password usually pops up on its own). You'll get a popup screen if you try to post that says you have to log in, and you just type your info into that, and voila!, you're back Home. Or you can sign in from the Latest Posts page, on the right, where it says Log In or some such wording.

If you want to make sure you don't delete your FR cookie, do NOT go to Delete Cookies. Just use the other three: Delete Files, Clear History, and here's the one where you can elect to keep your FR cookie: Settings.

One big phatte reason to clean your cache (I clean it daily or oftener, if I've been web shopping especially): every web site owner that drops a cookie into your browser can track every other site you visit, unless you have software to block that info going out to them.

You may have more than one FR cookie. The only one you need to preserve is the www.freerepublic.com one.

I was writing tongue-in-check about cleaning your cache for the reason of your parents not finding out about your secret life on FR, but it's a good idea to clean it anyway. ;-)

baseballmom, thanks for your encouragement about my happy loss. I just got some new clothing today, as the old stuff was getting pretty hideous!
